Why terrorists target our soldiers

They know that the deaths of American soldiers will be used by the antiwar left increasing the call to pull out, giving the terrorists victory.

Our media is a weapon of the enemy as it showers us with this bad news, influencing us as the North Vietnamese did during the end of the Vietnam War.

Here are the words of Osama bin Laden:

“After leaving Afghanistan, the Muslim fighters headed for Somalia and prepared for a long battle thinking that the Americans were like the Russians. The youth were surprised at the low morale of the American soldiers and realized, more than before, that the American soldier was a paper tiger and after a few blows……would run in defeat.”

He was wrong, it is not our soldiers who are paper tigers. Our people and our leaders are the paper tigers who do not have the will to go on when we are bombarded with bad news. It’s easier to pull out.

Our soldiers are heroes, and don’t give up. They see the good things happening that we do not, and they know that they are succeeding.

Why Terrorists target innocent Iraqis

They know that the unpleasantness of civilian deaths will be used by the antiwar left, increasing the call to pull out. More death and destruction means victory for the terrorists if we are indeed weak.

Bin Laden again:

“We have seen in the last decade the decline of American power and the weakness of the American soldier who is ready to wage Cold Wars, but unprepared to fight long wars. This was proven in Beirut in 1983 when the Marines fled after two explosions. It also proves they can run in less than 24 hours, and this was also repeated in Somalia”

More bodies mean victory is closer (for the bad guys)

Our antiwar leaders talk continuously of our defeat in Iraq, of the number of dead soldiers, and that our soldiers should be “redeployed”. Our fallen heroes are used as leverage. The enemy is given a reason to kill our soldiers. More dead soldiers and more carnage make the call to pull out a better sell to the people of America.

Unfortunately Our Antiwar leaders have invested themselves heavily in telling us that the war cannot be won. They will be losers if they are wrong and we win. This means that they have to continue saying that the war is lost, and continue to call for a withdrawal.

Our antiwar leaders have used the number of American soldiers killed specifically as their reason for the pullout (or our defeat) that they must have. They cannot be blind to the fact that this emboldens the enemy to commit more and more heinous acts of terror, and to target our soldiers especially. They therefore are directly responsible for the deaths of many of our soldiers. It about time this was on the lips of those who care more about America than they do political gains.

OUR ANTIWAR LEADERS ARE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEATHS OF MANY OF OUR SOLDIERS, AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MORE TO COME.

I'm disgusted that the left is using the lives of our soldiers as a tool for political gain, and I want to get people talking about the fact the the antiwar left are causing our soldiers to be targeted and killed.

Here's a quick draft of the email that I intend to send out to some friends who are notorious forwarders!

I would add one more thing. From now on, when the left whines about being considered unpatriotic, we need to stop backing off and start telling them that’s exactly what they are. When they ask if this means they should stop their vehement public disagreement, we need to tell them that while we are at war, that is precisely what they need to do. A divided country will fall. Always.
