BAGHDAD (AP) - A roadside explosion outside the Iraqi capital on Sunday killed six American soldiers and a journalist, the military said, among 12 U.S. deaths reported on a day when two car bombs killed at least 44 Iraqis at a Baghdad market and a police headquarters.

A car bomb in the capital, where U.S.-led forces are in the midst of a crackdown on sectarian violence, killed at least 30 Iraqis. At the police headquarters in Samarra, a volatile city in the Sunni heartland 60 miles north of Baghdad, a car bomb and shooting attack killed 12 police - including the police chief.

American soldiers racing to the headquarters to help also came under attack by small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades that left two soldiers wounded, the military said.

"Unfortunately the morons who make up the mass of US Senators are not."

I am not the first to posit, but I agree with the position that the democrap party gives aid and comfort to the enemy. Their dangerous surrender bill sends a message to the islamic terrorist filth that they can win. It inspires them to use their Iranian supplied hardware to commit these murders. The blood of our warriors is on the hands of Hairless Reid, Babushka, Karl Lenin, Chuck Schemer, Arlen Sphincter, and all of the other democraps.

If satellite radar can see geological and archaeological objects below the ground -- why don't we have airborne technology to detect IEDs?

It seems several years ago there were accounts where our satellites with radar were able to detect underground rivers, cavities, etc. It seems strange that we have not developed airborne systems with enough focused radar intensity to detect roadside underground objects from low altitude.

It would seem a baseline radar survey a road could be made and any changes after that could raise a flag for a possible IED.

These murders of Americans by IslamicNazi Terrorists (mainly from Iran)
were brought to you by the failure to respond decisively to the LAST HUNDRED IRANIAN IEDs.

My heart is broken for these boys and their families. May God help them.

And I’m bitter as well. Bitter to think of how the smirking likes of Feingold, Schumer,Leahy, Durbin, Reid and Kennedy will dance on their graves, perverting their heroic sacrifice into a rationale for surrender. Bitter when I think that the enemy knows this and has made a top priority of giving its defacto allies in the democratic party dead Americans to use in their struggle.
Sometimes I think that, if half the country wants to surrender, maybe we should. It’s too awful to think of these splendid boys dying to no end but an eventual betrayal by the likes of Hussein Obama or Hillary.

Note to the resistance, if you can just keep that up for 6 more weeks, the country’s yours. - Harry Reid

Find the bomber’s family and kill them all. Every time. Every one of them.

Terrible.

American soldiers racing to the [Iraqi police] headquarters to help also came under attack by small arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades that left two soldiers wounded, the military said

And they wonder why things like Haditha happen. Our guys were just doing what they had to, because at the time of an attack like this, it's impossible and unwise to trust that anybody there is just an innocent standing around gawking.
