Following up on this post:
"CNN International's CNN Today program, airing at midnight Eastern, led with the graphic 'Bush Resigns.' Of course, they meant 'Blair Resigns.' Freudian slip on the part of a network accused of anti-Americanism?"
...it did happen. Here's a screen grab from CNN International around midnight ET:
This appeared on screen for 12 seconds. (Two seconds before, President Bush had appeared on screen, but the chyron accurately said "Pressure over Iraq.")
5 incidents a pattern makes. They should be investigated by the FCC.
Freudian slip?.........or pipedreams?........
Maybe it was one of those “practice runs”. Didn’t ABC come out with a “Reagan Dead” banner long before he had died and they claimed it was a practice run?
Does anyone watch CNN anymore?
The slip was, it got posted on the air. The people making the banner’s routinely post such crap - every once and a while it goes on air ...
I have a screen shot of the CNN website when they named a photo of GWB something like @$$hole (spelled out, of course), but I don’t have it on this computer. I’ll have to post it later.
Juvenile Imbeciles!
Remember the “X” over Cheney...

The glitch was said to be accidental but a telephone operator’s defense of it was not:
>>”We did it just to make a point. Tell them to stop lying, Bush and Cheney,” the CNN operator said to Preska Thomas, co-founder of the marketing firm Team Hollywood. “Bring our soldiers home.”
>>”Was it not freedom of speech? Yes or no?” the CNN operator explained. “If you don’t like it, don’t watch. ... Tell your president to stop lying.”
He was fired.
Does anyone watch CNN anymore?
CNN has low actual ratings but they have an insidious/devious way of getting into the public eye and forums. Here are some most important ways:
through publishers academic materials:
CD’s, book references, vid links, ad nauseum
movies
other published materials such as literary work, compilations, etc.
CNN is brain dead.
The Big One
liberal media incompetence
Not me.
...”If you dont like it, dont watch.”
I don’t, wad.
Just more wishful thinking from some loser.
Yes at the airport (I do not), but as I said in my post its influence is pernicious and belies its ratings.
Idiots! One can just imagine the cheering which erupted when the antis read that.
On another note, I read an article by a young lady writing about the shooting on the Chicago Metro bus, and it was full of errors in tense and syntax. What do they teach you in journo classes these days besides anti-Americanism?
