Cindy Sheehan: "I Quit!"

Cindy Sheehan, the "peace mom" who made headlines in 2005 by staging a marathon protest outside President Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch, said Monday that she no longer wants to be seen as a leader of the anti-war movement.

In a 1,245-word missive entitled "Goodbye Attention Whore" posted on the liberal DailyKos blog, Sheehan said her campaign to end the war in Iraq had strained her relationship with her children, cost her a marriage and left her nearly penniless.

I honor Casey Sheehan’s sacrifice, we all do, that’s never been the issue. But good riddance to bad rubbish. This is someone in serious need of psychological counseling. I hope she gets the help she needs. I’ve never lost a child, so I can only imagine, but her embracing the very enemys of democracy her son gave his life fighting is still the behavior of a traitor. I believe it was this woman who got the left to start calling the “insurgents” by the name “Freedom Fighters”. Only someone with a truly strange view of freedom could say that.

Looks like she has been taking them there “smart pills.” She needs to take a few more to get a little smarter about the Bush administration.

Sheehan’s decision does not surprise me.

First, she could not keep up her emotionalism and hysteria indefinitely. It takes far too much energy, and ruins one’s daily life. It’s bad enough to deal with the unhappiness of losing a child, but how we respond to these losses is very important. Sheehan took one of the worst approaches you can take: resentment. It’s just not healthy. The only other alternative for Sheehan as death, either self-inflicted or lifestyle-inflicted. Sheehan’s animal instinct recharged itself suddenly in an effort to protect her life.

Second, her stance was far too moonbatty even by Dem standards. A group can tolerate someone like Sheehan if it serves their purpose for a while. And the media will eat up anything until it goes sour. But a year-after-year diet of this miserable woman is unpalatable to anyone. She was just, well, so stupid. Her pained face may have launched a thousand cameras, but the things that came out of her mouth launched a lot of lunches.

Cindy Sheehan, you are wrong about a lot of things. I pray that you will find God’s grace in Jesus. I hope someday you will be healed and that you can look back at this period as a turning point in your life for the better, not for the worse.

Broke? Awwww... not sorry to hear it. It was her own personal choice to use her son as political fodder to advance her loathing of her own country. The truth is the American people never bought her argument America was evil and the war was wrong. Badly managed, perhaps. But wrong? No! I'm happy we can say good riddance to Jihad Cindy. Her 15 minutes of fame were 15 minutes too long for the good of our country.

The real story won't be reported. That the moonbats and the mainstream media took advantage of a simple minded woman who was grieving for her lost son, and pushed her out into the front of the anti-war movement to try to embarrass the President. They are shameless and did great harm to this woman. Yes, she was willing to go along, but she was still taken advantage of by people who will stop at nothing and will destroy anyone in order to prevail.

She thinks she needs to clear her calendar to improve her chances to be Rosie’s replacement.

Blind party loyalty is dangerous whatever side it occurs on. People of the world look on us Americans as jokes because we allow our political leaders so much murderous latitude and if we don’t find alternatives to this corrupt "two" party system our Representative Republic will die and be replaced with what we are rapidly descending into with nary a check or balance: a fascist corporate wasteland.

From her resignation letter. Of course by the time she wound things up,

Good-bye America ...you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can’t make you be that country unless you want it.

Hm I'd guess that the "gravy train" of free travel, tickets to events like the state of the union has left the station without her.

Frankly the term attention whore is pretty apt of her.

Know how we can prove she was used by the libs? Because of all of the talking points and leftist ideals she was fed, nobody ever told her under no circumstances to use her own money to shovel her drivel. She could have milked Soros and his kind for 100% financing. And her fellow minions knew it.
