Yes, TB and a number of other deadly diseases were eradicated in the U.S. until our borders were opened to all and sundry, but that started happening way before Bush took office. He just made it worse. I am now waiting for polio to return to our shores with some African or Indian subcontinent immigrants. There are several places in Africa where the Imams are telling people that polio vaccinations are the work of American devils. Please see my tagline.

Sorry. Incorrect. While the number of cases declined sharply with the advent of new drugs, TB never left the US. With the advent of HIV/AIDS the number of TB cases rose steadily from 1984 to 1996.
