ROCKLAND — Police want probation, community service and heartfelt apologies from the two 13-year-old boys who threw eggs at veterans during the Memorial Day parade.
The two teenagers were arrested Monday, moments after they were spotted tossing eggs over a fence at a group of veterans.
"They disrespected that whole ceremony," said Charles Eaton, a National Guard reservist who was deployed to Uzbekistan in 2002 to support the war in Afghanistan.
"They disrespected every veteran in this whole country by doing that," he said.
Eaton, 51, was among three police officers and four veterans who fired a 21-gun salute to honor the nation's fallen soldiers during holiday events Monday.
"The eggs came sailing over the fence," Eaton said. "They missed us probably by no more than 10 feet."

Just another case of liberals “expressing” themselves vicariously through their children.
I’ll wait for their idiot parents to start whining that their freedom of expression is being curtailed.

Forced apologies will never be heartfelt.
Punish them, but don’t mandate contrition. Only age and experience will turn little punks into humans with a sense of decency — if they ever develop a sense of decency.
If they are forced to write apologies, they will lie, then laugh about how they fooled everyone.

Fine, don’t give their names because they are minors. But please, please, please give us their parents names. Oh please. I have family in that area—I am determined to find out who these little punks were.

Make them do a bunch of community service time in the closest VA hospital while wearing a sign stating their offense.
They should make them join the military, as punishment....It might just teach them the values that their parents failed to instill in them.
My SIL went to Juvenile Hall for 2 months at age 14. She’s 24 now and hasn’t been in trouble with the law since she got out.

I think a few months of boot camp is just what those little punks need.
That and a sound Cat O’ Nine Tails public whipping for their parents.
If 13 year old boys haven’t developed a since of decency, and they remain with the same parents, they never will.
In a perfect world, those two juvenile misfits would be sentenced to six months of emptying bed pans at the nearest VA Hospital.
Of course the Vets in there would have to hold their noses.
Let them pack their shit and move to Canada or Mexico then.
