Years ago, my sister overheard her daughter BRAGGING to her cousins about getting off restriction pretty quickly by “crying during her apology to her mother and giving her this great speech about understanding why what she did was wrong, blah, blah, blah.” She bragged that just by shedding a few tears, she could get her mom to agree to anything.

About that time, my sister, FURIOUS, burst into the room and loudly announced to her daughter in front of her cousins that SHE would be fooled no more and that the daughter was BACK ON restriction with added time and no tears would free her this time! She said the wide eyes and gaping mouths of the 3 girls was priceless.

Couldn't agree more. There is a group here in the Bay Area called the "Young Marines." Used the group a few years ago for a civic event as our clean-up crew. These kids (boys AND girls, from 9 to 17) were hard-working, respectful and extremely responsive to direction. Of course, the leader of the group (and most of their parents) would have bull-whipped them on the spot if they hadn't acted as such.

In speaking to some of the parents, there were some real hard case problems among them... before joining the group.

But how many veterans did you egg on Memorial day?. This was not some little juvenile prank. This was a deliberate, disrespectful and malicious act. One that comes right out of the first chapter of the liberal play book. They may not have a political affiliation but they are damn sure being indoctrinated by a pair of loathsome liberal parents. These two punks should be shipped off to a juvenile offender bootcamp for a year to get their heads un-cross threaded. Their parents should also be held liable for their actions of their sons for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
