I tried zooming in on my own home, and it wouldn’t get nearly that close. Maybe I did something wrong, but it would only get as close as a low flying helicopter might.

Are they talking about Google Earth, or Google Maps?

Anyway, some areas have higher resolution coverage than others. The part of town that I live in is fuzzy, so more or less useless.

Some of the national parks and more exotic wild areas are very high resolution - Grand Canyon and the like, it’s just awesome to be able to find *campsites* in the wilderness areas. Great for finding 4WD roads that aren’t marked or a bit cryptic.
