WASHINGTON Boeing has been sued by suspected Al Qaida operatives transported by the CIA to Arab countries for interrogation and torture.
The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a federal lawsuit against Boeing subsidiary Jeppesen Dataplan on behalf of three Al Qaida suspects transported by the CIA under the so-called "extraordinary rendition program." The suit charged that Jeppesen helped the CIA transport the three plaintiffs to secret locations in Egypt and Morocco, where the company knew they would undergo torture...........
Now they are directly working for Al Qaida...
Who, the ALCU. Get otta here.
Now, if they were transporting them to San Francisco to undergo voluntary hormonal therapy in preparation for their sex change operations, would the ACLU be filing a lawsuit against a 3rd party vendor which had contracted to provide a service to the government??????//
Someone get a rope.
No, they supply maps, etc.
I’ll say this for them: For a people that want to live in the 7th Century, they sure know how to work the modern (liberal) human rights system and push all the right buttons.
Yep - so here is a map of an airport in Poland - this is where you land, this is how you taxi to the terminal. Yep -guilty as sin in helping the CIA...
SHEESH!
Any attorney involved in this suit needs a gavel rapped on his head, followed by disbarment.
Any questions as to why there is a need for total and complete tort reform plus liability protection for American industry at this point?
60 years ago people engaging in this sort of support for our enemies would have been executed. God only knows why the Justice Department hasn’t shuttered the ACLU, seized its assets, and jailed its leadership and funders.
What more evidence do we need that the ACLU is in bed with our enemies?
Agree...It should be clear to all that the ACLU is an anti American organization. What the hell will it take to oust them from our country and hang them for treason. Marxist pigs they are,
I’m in another world.....
So, they need a preponderance of evidence that 1) torture actually happened and 2) the company knew exactly what would happen. Good luck with that. They're probably hoping for a settlement.
The suit was filed under the Alien Tort Statute, which permits aliens to bring claims in the United States for alleged violations that involve American citizens or assets. The statute accounts for torture.
Plus pilot supplies (bags, etc.), flight planning products and charting and navigation services.
I wish we could bring back HUAC.
