You know darned well that what I said was exactly on the mark.

You can’t defend Romney, so you try to distract.

Clintonian, but there it is...

Ignore my comments, make another attack. Par for the course.

Make this about everything but Romney. Reagan, Bush, Keyes, anyone but Mitt...the liberal who is actually running. Par for the course.

Your posts were lampooning Ambassador Keyes’s electoral performance, so it gave the impression. If you say you aren’t a racist, I’ll take you at your word that you aren’t, and will apologize.

I was highlighting the fact that during EV's stint as the National Political Director for Mr. Keyes, his political talents managed to garner Mr. Keyes only 14% of the vote. Which begs the question: if they didn't work there and his political instincts now say that attack, attack, attack is the best strategy against Romney, then perhaps he is mistaken about this strategy as well.

Support whom you wish to support. That is the best and most honorable strategy. A purely negative campaign rarely, if ever, wins. To win, you must attract people to you and you and EV aren't attracting anyone.

My goal is simply to educate conservatives about the truth behind Mitt Romney’s lying rhetoric.

I assure you that by the end of the year, virtually every conservative in America will have a clear view of the facts.

"I was highlighting the fact that during EV's stint as the National Political Director for Mr. Keyes, his political talents managed to garner Mr. Keyes only 14% of the vote."

"Only", huh ? Well, R, let's see you manage a national campaign and put you head to head with EV's considerable accomplishment. Given that Ambassador Keyes did not have the huge financial resources of his opponents and very little media coverage (as, of course, the liberal media likes to pretend Black Republicans don't exist), that's a very respectable figure to have received. Although I ultimately voted for the current occupant of the White House, I cast my ballot for Ambassador Keyes in 2000 in the primary. You see, I don't think any of us were under the false assumption that the Ambassador was going to sweep the primaries or win the nomination, but just that he was in the race to offer principled Conservatives a choice.

"Which begs the question: if they didn't work there and his political instincts now say that attack, attack, attack is the best strategy against Romney, then perhaps he is mistaken about this strategy as well."

Romney's questionable record, flip-flopping, and his deliberate complete abandonment of his responsibilities as party leader of his state are all fair game to be criticized.

"Support whom you wish to support. That is the best and most honorable strategy. A purely negative campaign rarely, if ever, wins. To win, you must attract people to you and you and EV aren't attracting anyone."

EV and I aren't supporting the same candidate. EV (correct me if I'm wrong, please) is backing Duncan Hunter, a fine man, whom I hope to see as Defense Secretary under my candidate, Fred Thompson's, administration. As for not attracting people to my candidate, you'll note he enjoys the vast support of FReepers, and is in first place, in fact. As for me, I learned from a gentleman online a decade ago who advised all those in the Conservative cause that "it's time for a full frontal assault." When I see trojan horses in the GOP, liberals that intend on maximizing harm and using the party to further the agenda of the opposition, I will target them mercilessly. I was unapologetic in going after Ah-nold in CA during the recall in 2003, even risking my account being suspended several times, because it was important to raise awareness that he was the enemy of the Conservative movement (and everything I warned about has come to pass). I was unapologetic in going after RINO trash like Slick Willie Weld, K.T. McFarland and Jeanine Pirro in NY. I am unapologetic in going after policy liberals like Rudy, treacherous unprincipled phonies like Precious Willard, and psychotics like McCain and Ron Paul AKA Dr. Demento. When campaign season is on, and a lot of enemies are within your camp, it's wartime, and I'm going to keep firing until the bad guys are no longer a threat, and it's that simple. And as they say, if you can't stand the heat, get out of Dodge.

So, I guess that apology about the racist accusation isn’t forthcoming?
