I think the main blessing from this is that it shows deep fissures between the House and the Senate on the illegal immigration issue.I think the fact that every one of the members of the house have to face the voters in 2008 has a lot to do with it. Many of the GOP senators that are being traitorous still have 5 or 3 more years before they are up again. Their theory is that by that time the voters would have forgotten.
