They know that if the Border Agents do their job, they’ll end up in jail.

Declare areas burned out in such a manner to be free fire zones.

U.S. Border Patrol agents seeking to secure the nation's border in some of the country's most pristine national forests are being targeted by illegal aliens, who are using intentionally set fires to burn agents out of observation posts and patrol routes.
It's a good thing that I'm constantly reminded that these people are breaking our laws because our economy is dependent on them.
Otherwise, I might start thinking that what they're doing - the tactics they are employing - seems an awful lot like an invasion.

Well, there you go. They can destroy our country and society, and liberals will welcome them with open arms, but now they’re destroying pristine habitat, so watch for them to scream for something to be done.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
The illegal aliens are burning the brush and trees that they usually hide behind to cross the border...
And where are the environmental whackos?
To: CAWats
If Bush was doing the job, those arsonists would not be on this side of the border.

She said law enforcement personnel have been assaulted, threatened with weapons and shot at, and their vehicles have been rammed by cross-border violators. Because of the remoteness of the area, she said, timely assistance from other law enforcement agencies is not always possible and communications limitations and active interference with radio frequencies in Mexico create additional safety risks. Gee, but, Tony Snow said this isn't an invasion.
