Because of the remoteness of the area, she said, timely assistance from other law enforcement agencies is not always possible and communications limitations and active interference with radio frequencies in Mexico create additional safety risks. Well, they are already across the border in able to set the fires.
Seems to me that a wide bare area all along the border would be a big help in watching for illegals!!
