Political subjects come down to one of two issues: money or power. The Founding Fathers began this nation with the belief that its citizens should wield ultimate power over it, subject to the grace of Almighty God. Politically influential groups don't particularly like that arrangement.

Yup, that’s all it’s ever been about. Want to end a discussion with a liberal over global warming? Ask them what temperature the Earth should be. After their confused look, ask them if the temperature goes back down one degree like it supposably went up after a hundred years would they be happy? It’s not about the temperature of the earth, it’s about taking your freedoms and they get to decide. They want you to take your SUV and they want you living in a shack with no electricty. Oh yeah, and they want you dependent upon the government for anything.
