The complaint alleges that breaktime rules at the Swift & Co. plant violate civil rights laws by not allowing workers to leave production lines to pray at sundown.

I don't think there is anything in the civil rights laws that require a company to provide time for praying. If they must pray at sundown, they need to get a job that ends before sundown. Once again, this is another attempt to use our laws to establish Sharia law in the US. My feeling is that, if they don't like the job and it doesn't fit their religious beliefs, they should find another job...perhaps in Somalia or Saudi Arabia.

I hope the company--and the union--fight this one.

This is EXACTLY what they are trying to do . They’re VERY successful in England pulling this crap , they now own the place. People better wake up FAST ! Listen to what THEY tell us , they want to take over.
