Author reveals 'biggest unknown scandal of the Clinton years'

A New York Times best-selling author has released a new book calling former president Bill Clinton's foreign policy scandalous.

The book by Thomas E. Woods, Jr. is called 33 Questions about American History You're Not Supposed to Ask. The publisher, Crown Forum, describes the book as "a provocative look at the hidden truths about our nation's history -- the ones that have been buried because they're too politically incorrect to discuss."

Among the topics discussed in the book: The Indians did not save the Pilgrims from starvation by teaching them to grow corn. The "Wild" West was more peaceful and a lot safer than most modern cities. And the biggest scandal during the Clinton years did not involve a blue dress. Regarding the latter, Wood says despite the constant coverage of the Monica Lewinsky affair during the 1990s, the biggest unknown scandal of the Clinton presidency had to do with his foreign policy.

"For instance, when Clinton intervened in the Balkans, his interventions were consistently on the side of the Bosnian Muslims to the point where it was just becoming laughable to the rest of the world," he says. "I mean, the Bosnian Muslims would violate ceasefire agreements and Clinton would have absolutely no problem with it."

And Woods says Clinton's unwillingness to go after terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden was a foreign policy failure. He notes that Clinton's own head of the bin Laden unit, Michael Shoyer, suggests there were at least seven to eight occasions when the U.S. could have captured bin Laden during the Clinton administration -- but there was "just no interest in doing it."

"So you just have to wonder what on earth was going on. If there is any role at all for the U.S. military, surely it is this," exclaims Wood.

According to Woods, Clinton's foreign policy debacles were far more scandalous than his sordid personal life.

Most of us were aware of this treachery on the part of the Clinton duo.

Does the book mention technology to China?

And let's not forget that Clinton went before the American people and said the war -- against a sovereign nation and without UN nor Congressional approval -- was justified because there were mass graves to the tune of 250,000 genocide victims -- which was a huge lie!

I don't know. I just read this article and decided to pass it on.

As far as this giving of the missile guidance technology, Allbright admitted long ago that our 'government' had given it freely to China. Her reasoning was that it was immoral for one country to possess it; rather, it should be shared.

They are Marxist traitors with a capital T.

The American people (those who can read and write, of course) shouldn't lose sight of the fact that Rice was a student of Allbright's father, as was Allbright herself.

CFR members all.

I don't know why this is just ignored. Turns out there was no "ethnic clensing" just Serbs fighting the same Islamofascists we are now fighting in Iraq.

And the debacle will escalate under the Rodham-rodent should Americans be so stupid as to place her in the White HOuse. [And yes, I meant to capitalize the “O”]

And the Bush administration has followed the same policy while pushing 'independence' for Kosavar Albanians at the ethnic cleansing of it's native Serbs.

Questions nobody at CNN will ever ask:

If Bush lied about WMD in Iraq, was Clinton also lying about WMD in Iraq when he made virtually identical statements before Bush became president?

And if it was a lie, was it a lie invented by Clinton himself or by someone else in his administration?

The great mass of unwashed, pierced, tatooed and drugged simpletons will vote....if it doesn't rain.

The RepublicRATs (there are a handful of good ones; however, there are no good DemocRATs) couldn't get their act together if the nation's life depended on it. If ever there was a legitimate third party needed it's now!

Most of us were aware of this treachery on the part of the Clinton duo.

Most of us who read FreeRepublic were aware, but not most Americans who, at most, read the NYT, Baltimore Sun, WashPost or watch ABC,etc. They, and the IPOD-only listeners, are carefully guarded from learning anything like Clinton treachery. I am glad someone is mentioning it in a new book.

I joyfully watched many hours of ceremony and commentary on Cal Ripken last week and not once did I hear mention that he was "Honorary Commissioner" of Presdident Bush's T-Ball league. This even though the theme of Cal's Hall of Fame speech was doing well for children. Such a heartwarming and, may I say, made-for-TV visual activity can be kept a secret from the American people.

The DBM has great power. They are not in the news business, but the agenda business.

I heard that it was shared so that there would be no further need for spies. If everyone had the same knowledge, no spying needed. How can any group be so stupid and so successful in winning elections? Scary

“He notes that Clinton’s own head of the bin Laden unit, Michael Shoyer...”

I’d have more faith in the article if the author got the names right.
