Thanks for the post, Huck.

One quick remark about the Club for Growth. While the CFG has a stringent set of standards for rating our elected representatives on the actual votes they cast, they don’t always get it right. The CFG gave what I thought was a friendly evaluation of the liberal Rudy Giuliani`s stint as Mayor of NYC. The general upbeat analysis Pat Toomey`s CFG gave to Rooty Toot was undeserving.

So much for the proper Constitutional role of the federal government.

Have you looked into the actual amendments they are citing? I think that funding federal projects is the proper Constitutional role of the federal government, don't you?

The Constitutional role of the federal government isn't to fund a bunch of meaningless federal projects.
