What’s happening to San Diego? First that Padres thing, and now this nonsense...
Reminds me of the classic Onion article “Gay-Pride Parade Sets Mainstream Acceptance Of Gays Back 50 Years.”
(Per FR rules DO NOT link to The Onion in any fashion).
I’m amazed at just how far that we, as a nation, have fallen since I came into this world.
That pig O'Reilly might be trolling.

Here's the person most responsible and accountable. The admitted lesbian Fire Chief thought it would be cute to have some fire trucks in the fag parade.
If the City Council nuts up this munchkin will be unemployed come Monday afternoon.
I’ve had the displeasure of seeing what goes on at the NYC gay pride parade. It’s truly disgusting. They are especially vulgar in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I know exactly what those firefighters were subjected to.
I wonder if “the american people” think the country is going in “the right direction” yet. I haven’t seen that asked in any “polls” lately.
this was not a lawful order and should have been refused. if they refused and received punishment, THEN they would have had some sweet legal grounds to sue. as it stands, the dept will say they could have said no.
How were they forced? Did administration put guns to their heads? Were they tied up and mounted on fire trucks? It seems to me they could have refused. If they got disciplined or fired from their jobs because of this unconscionable order, then I would think they would have a more compelling case. It seems to me they want their retirement benefits more than their self respect.
Are you collectively totally nuts? I have loved San Diego for almost all of my life, having been born in CA in 1943. My Dad served in the Navy there. I served in the Peace Corps at UCSD in 1966. My best friend in College was from Ponte Loma and a total heterosexual kind of surfer guy. He liked girls, Duh, like me!
Please free the fire fighters from their unwanted chains. What a total load of crap. Don't forget: "Don't ask / don't tell" works both ways!
Have you all totally lost it? Comments welcomed!

Oh, to be proactive. I'm sure there will be more to come. California must be crazy, being a native, that really rubs me the wrong way.

This is what's wrong with all the sexual harassment crap. If this is the worst thing to happen to these guys in their careers they're lucky. The policy has been changed move on. Do you really think this chief or any other one will order anybody to march in this idiot parade again. Of course not.
More taxpayer money to as$h%^$ lawyers.
BTTT!
I’ve spent a lifetime learning what’s right and what’s not and teaching it to my kids.
Apparently, now, I must un-learn, reject and apologize for, nearly everything I have come to know and value as truth, common sense, and decency.
