Jerry Brown's crystal ball - CA-AG wants compliance with regulations before they're written.
Orange County Register ^ | 8/13/07 | OC Register Editorial

Posted on 08/13/2007 10:31:04 AM PDT by So Cal Rocket

Hyperbole in Sacramento is distorting an entirely reasonable argument. Sen. Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, believes the government shouldn't be allowed to sue to force compliance with rules that don't yet exist.

After all, how can anyone comply with rules that don't exist? How would anyone know whether he or she is breaking the law?

Nevertheless, Attorney General Jerry Brown is on a Kafkaesque mission. He already has sued the county of San Bernardino, hinted at doing the same to several other local government agencies and has succeeded in inhibiting two Northern California refineries from moving ahead with expansion plans. Brown's quest is to enforce last year's Global Warming Solutions Act, and its mandate that greenhouse gas emissions in the state be reduced to 1990's level by 2020.

This is absurd.

But to a certain extent they get what they deserve for having Jerry Brown as AG.

That's why the CAGOP wants to stop Jerry Brown's abuse of power as Attorney General. For that they are vilified by Democrats and the MSM.

Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown has crystal balls allright!!!

He's not even qualified to have run for the office he holds illegitimately, yet he's abusing that office acting like a one-man GANG-GREEN wrecking ball, having a ball, screwing up business and industry, in fact all of capitalism as an "insurgent" from the USSR and the cold war days!!!

Both he and schmaltzing Schwartzenrenegger should be removed from CA official-dumb before their damaging destructive balling up of everything economic will soon have us far behind the France Eight-Ball with NO NUCLEAR POWER!!!

Next he'll find a way to bring back Rose Bird and saddle us with her lunacy, along with that lunatic Gianturco Woman at CalTrans!!!

Crystal balls and Lunacy! What else can you expect from former Governor "Moonbeam!" (Anyone heard from Linda Ronstadt, lately?)

Would this be the same Jerry Brown who’s campaign faux-conservative Michael Weiner donated the maximum legal amount to?

This from the AG who didn’t meet the State constitutional requirements for the job.

I’ll give Jerry credit for always sticking up for the 2nd Amendment—but he has very little respect for any other portion of the Constitution—state or federal.
