Any poll conducted by CBS that receives any publicity is purely for effect. I wouldn’t put stock in a CBS poll if it concluded the earth is round.

Strong, but Rudy lost an actual straw poll in Iowa.

Well, CBS wouldn’t lie to us. < /S >

This is where the MSM tries to get us to vote for their man.
I'm starting to hear the drum beat now.

Is this input from their crack, unbiased WH reporter Bill Plante ?
To: Spok
He also is strong in the gallup poll

I wonder what states he leads in for primary voters? Also, this is very subject to change. We’ve still quite a ways to go before any votes will be counted.

CBS. Oh yeah, I believe them. Not
We don’t want mainstream establishment for our candidates. The MSM does.

Fred Thompson 15.2%
Sam Brownback 1.0%
Mike Huckabee 1.7%

I think it's way too early for polls to mean anything other than a source of blather for the media. Also, I think I see B.S.

Thompson is dropping because he’s waiting too long to get in.
People are starting to have their doubts about him.
He should be able to recover, though it may be more difficult than he thinks.
People were expecting him to heroically ride in on a white horse, but it looks like by the time he finally shows up the villains will have already made off with the damsel.

It’s not too early at all. The nomination will be decided in about five months.
FT needs to get into the damn ring already.

Hes got the big states Liberals will always vote for the Dim. Happens every time. No matter how much booty the RINO kisses.

I was watching a pollster from Quinnipiac on cspan go through all these numbers and comment. Then he admitted that only ten percent of Dems have actually committed to their choice of candidate.

If Fred doesn’t jump in, it’ll be a fight between the libertarian wing of the GOP (Romney, Paul) and the social conservative/WOT wing (Hunter, Tancredo). Things could get ugly.
