Any poll conducted by CBS that receives any publicity is purely for effect. I wouldn’t put stock in a CBS poll if it concluded the earth is round.

Strong, but Rudy lost an actual straw poll in Iowa.

This is where the MSM tries to get us to vote for their man.

I'm starting to hear the drum beat now.

I wonder what states he leads in for primary voters? Also, this is very subject to change. We’ve still quite a ways to go before any votes will be counted.

CBS. Oh yeah, I believe them. Not

We don’t want mainstream establishment for our candidates. The MSM does.

I think it's way too early for polls to mean anything other than a source of blather for the media. Also, I think I see B.S.

Thompson is dropping because he’s waiting too long to get in.
People are starting to have their doubts about him.
He should be able to recover, though it may be more difficult than he thinks.

People were expecting him to heroically ride in on a white horse, but it looks like by the time he finally shows up the villains will have already made off with the damsel.

Giuliani, defying conventional wisdom, continues to show strength among groups not expected to be favorable towards his candidacy. He leads the field among conservatives, those who live in the South and West, evangelical Christians, and voters who think that a candidate’s personal life should be a factor in deciding whom to support.

Its not defying conventional wisdom.

Republicans understand the big issue of 2008 is the War on Terror, and Rudy is the best candidate in either party to lead it.

Thus Rudy’s ongoing and enduring strength in poll after poll.

Better put this up in the “Giuliani Truth File” at the top of this page.

In the meantime, all the invective has scarcely changed the poll findings. Giuliani is now the bete noir of many on FR, yet seems to also have his supporters.
