When former President Bill Clinton began appearing beside Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail early this summer, the effect was electrifying. What memories he brought back! That bustling economy, that low unemployment rate, that knack for international diplomacy … No wonder both men and women were screaming for more. "I am thrilled to see Bill Clinton back in the spotlight," says Dawn Glossa, a 36-year-old Democrat from Chicago. "He brings back feelings of better days in the U.S., when the working class could afford a home, interest rates were reasonable and the rest of the world liked us!"

Its all about "feelings" with libs. They would be suprised that no one told them the economy is even better under Bush! The MSM is never going to allow the truth to get in the way of Clinton worship.

The "rest of the world liked us?" Yeah, I can see how after Bubba did nothing to stop Al Qaeda despite 8 years on the job.

They do not believe you when you tell them the truth about the economy, the war on terrorism, etc. I know. I’ve tried. You get “That Fox crap is all lies!” or “You are just a Rush-bot! He fills your head full of crap!”............

“Dawn Glossa, a 36-year-old Democrat from Chicago.”

Who sounds like a member of the Daley Machine. I wonder who steered this reporterette to these particular citizens?

Yeah, i caught that too. Liked. It is much better to be respected. Again, with them it’s all about feelings. Whenever I have some sort of “discussion” with the nutballs, their first words are usually “I FEEL”.......

"...when the working class could afford a home, interest rates were reasonable and..."

As is typical of her ilk, Dims never let the facts get in the way of good sloganeering. Interest rates were lower under Bush and the working class (and below) acquired homes at never before seen rates. As for the BS about being liked, I'd rather have principles, values and stand for something.

“That bustling economy, that low unemployment rate... interest rates were reasonable...”?

Gov’t bringing in record revenues, lower interest rates than in the 90s, avg. unemployment % LOWER than the low during clinton’s years...

Libs are insane. They live in an alternate universe.
I’ve argued with lib wackos who believe we have depression era soup lines. Nuts.

“the working class could afford a home, interest rates were reasonable and the rest of the world liked us!”

This woman is an example of the type of voter who believes the President actually controls these things.

I’m remembering an article that appeared in the Washington Post back in 1992, which gave Clinton credit for the improvement in the economy that occurred in the Third Quarter, before he was even elected.

They loved us in Somalia, they loved us at Khobar Tower, they loved us in Kenya and Tanzania when they blew up our embassies, and they loved us when they tried to sink the USS Cole. I do not know about you, but I can do without that kind of ‘love’

Longing for the good old days when each man was entitled to one free grope (so we were told) ... when the womyn’s libertines looked the other way when a boss took advantage of a subordinate ... and when we could attack our enemy’s empty buildings at night from afar to apear to be responsive.

A perfect example of our public education systems. And BTW, what is “un reasonable” about interest rates now? I am at a loss to understand what this person is talking about?........
