You’re undoubtedly correct. Although I have to point out, the behavior of the dozen or so Brits that were taken at sea by the Iranians were a huge disappointment, as was the behavior of the British command all the way up the chain.
The embarrasing Iranian incident was no worse for the British than when an entire unit of US troops refused to go on convoy duty in Iraq a couple of years ago. It’s funny how US posters seem to have forgotten that serious break-down in military values.
