Richard Collins, a wealthy Texas philanthropist, businessman and political aficionado, heaps praise on the woman he has set out to destroy, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.).
"She looks like a winner," said Collins, sitting in his high-rise office with sweeping views of the city. "She's run a good campaign, very consistent, no mistakes."
But make no mistake about it: Collins is just one in a vast army of professional "Hillary haters" who are banking on Clinton becoming the Democratic nominee. Like the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in the 2004 election who denigrated John Kerry's military service in Vietnam, Collins and others are searching for just the thing that will crystallize the way voters think and feel about her. And not in a good way.
Armed with new technologies and fueled by animus, they are bent on preventing "four more years" of Clintonism. Every old charge, it seems, is being repackaged and sold as new. Every rumor is given a new, blog-stoked currency.
The rise of the Internet has meant that more people are getting their message out without the expense of paper, postage or manpower. Anyone with a computer can weigh in on the political debate and alter a candidate's course, and Clinton opponents have started early.
With his affable demeanor and sixth-generation Texas twang, Collins, 60, is the force behind StopHerNow.com, a humorous and snarky Web site, as well as an independent expenditure group dedicated to stopping Clinton's march to the White House.

I wonder if any major mainstream media outlet has ever used the term “Bush haters” to describe liberals? If they’ve ever used that term, it’s probably only to describe conservatives who disagree with the president on amnesty. Even the most deranged anti-Bush leftists, such as Code Pink whackos and Cindy Sheehan, would never be called “haters” by our press corps.
Ditto for the word “bashing”. Only conservatives bash, as in “Tancredo bashes immigrants (sic) at campaign appearance”. Liberals, of course, never bash anyone.
It will be interesting to see just how bad Hillary will be beaten in the Presidential election. Hillary if not beaten as bad as Dukasis was, then at least as much as Mondale.
DFU & “Truthboating Hillary”
There are two Americas on Hillary, those who Hate her, and those who are apathetic to her.

It’s not for nothing that it’s called the Lib Trib.
Heil Hillary!
I figure that she will lose 98 states by combining the landslide anti war message of McGovern with the landslide tax increase message of Mondale. Hillarycare brings the House back home as it did in 94.
Exactly -- these libtards posing as journalists can't even get three paragraphs into an article before exposing their latent bias and agenda. She certainly didn't reverse course or attempt to cover her tracks by trying to be "even-handed" later in the article. Pure agitprop...
with a fist in the air and a loud shout; “heil hillary!”
In a country that gave Gore the poular vote, elected and reelected Klintoon in the 90's and was just Ohio shy of electing Jon Queri last go around,, I wouldn't be too sure about any severe beating.
What I would like to see if this communist POS does win is see her get thrown out on her ass by the military.
It’s Jill Zuckman of the Libune, who never met a Liberal she didn’t give free publicity to.
Republicans who pull for a Hillary nomination because they think she’s unelectable remind me of the people who voted for Lester Maddox for Governor of Georgia because they thought “that horrible ax-handle man” couldn’t possibly be elected! (Guess what!)
Mondale got beat worse. Dukakis got 10 States + D.C. Mondale got MN + D.C.
