I haven’t read Bloom County for a number of years, but I do remember Breathed making fun of Jimmy Carter when Carter was president.

Breathed makes fun of everybody, and very well! He did a strip in the Daily Texan when I was at the University of Texas, called “The Academia Waltz”, that was an absolute scream.
