There is no correlation between gun ownership and violent crime so it is political to me. If Joe Lib doesn't want to own a firearm that's fine with me, but I have problems with Joe Lib making choices about my firearm ownership.
Joe Lib has to realize that some kind of repeal of the Second Amendment will not make him safe. He will be happy that the people on the other side of his political view will be "punished".
