"Is anyone even going to remember what happens in these early debates???" Other than Ronald Reagan's; "I paid for this mic!", and "There you go again!", does anyone remember what has happened in any past debates?
"Debates" - The dog and pony shows we have called "debates" for so long now, are nothing but jokes! No one watches them to learn anything new. Supporters watch and all claim their guy won. We haven't had a real debate since "Lincoln/Douglas" in this country.

I remember when the question came up about his "age" in the 1984 Debate between Reagan and Mondale and Reagan said: "I understand, but I pledge that I will not exploit the youth and inexperience of my opponent for political gain."
