Political contributions by three factory managers in a Pa. town closely track those of the two-time fugitive.
MOUNT CARMEL, Pa. - This is your typical tiny borough in the anthracite region, an out-of-the-way enclave of old rowhouses where you can buy lunch at Yanni's Family Restaurant and still get change back from a $5 bill.
Nothing much happens here, except on fall Fridays, when folks root for the Red Tornadoes, the high school football team. But for the politically observant, Mount Carmel, Pa., is a name that in recent days has been drawing national attention and lots of questions.
Three of the town's 6,300 residents have been caught up in a saga involving hundreds of thousands of dollars in questionable campaign contributions to some of the biggest names in national politics.
Since 2004, three managers of a plastics manufacturing plant on the outskirts of this Northumberland County town have given more than $270,000 to top Democrats, including Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Dianne Feinstein, and Edward M. Kennedy.
What makes those donations unusual - besides that they came from a blue-collar coal town not known for large political checks - is that they closely track the pattern of giving by Norman Hsu, the self-described apparel executive and two-time fugitive who was apprehended in Colorado late Thursday.
Federal authorities, according to published reports, are investigating whether Hsu used a network of associates to skirt campaign contribution limits and broaden his political reach.

Hsu (Communist China) has his hands EVERYWHERE!! Are the FEDS looking into this?? Doubt it!

Kent Cooper, a former longtime Federal Election Commission official who continues to track the influence of money in politics, said such ties raise red flags, especially given the scope of the contributions from rural Pennsylvania.
“You are way beyond coincidence here. You are talking about methodical patterns of giving to the same candidates. This is way out of the ordinary,” said Cooper. “This is a coordinated effort.”
How soon before the democrats are shown for the traitors they are? Never? Or soon? Whisper, Whisper......of course with the hardcore traitors, money has no influence.
Article says this:
Federal authorities, according to published reports, are investigating whether Hsu used a network of associates to skirt campaign contribution limits and broaden his political reach.
Nothing to see here, folks. Hsu is just a weirdo. I read it in the Wall Street Journal.
This is getting bigger than the media can ignore.
The Dems are awash with foreign money, and we already know Kennedy and Clinton has sold America out before.
It looks as though someone is doing some digging. Keep it up.

A fugitive from the law.....??? None checked him? Have I a bridge for you!
A fugitive from the law.....??? Someone protected him? (For the money) that is where I am placing my bet.
Surprised this is getting any play at all in the liberal press.
Let’s see how they go about covering for Hitlery.

Probably financed with bogus $100 bills from North Korea!
(Did I say “Bogus?”)
Interesting that Eddie Rendell is near the top of the list among Hsu recipients — although this article doesn’t mention him as a recipient of this latest batch of fake donors.
How much corruption needs to be revealed before this becomes a story of interest to the real Main Stream Media (ABC-NBC-CBS)?
I sent this to Michelle Malkin, Rush, and National Review. We’ll see if any of them notice it.
Sad when someone realizes they're not in the loop.
Psst, Hsu, next time click on "random dating" when you cut checks. If there is a next time.
Fast Eddie has been covered by the Inquirer on this and not kindly either.
Hsu sure got around. No mention here of him residing in the green bungalow owned by the Paw family in San Francisco.
It seems the Chinese gov’t has tentacles all over our country. Scary stuff indeed.
