Sue Gorman had no idea she had so many friends. The Key Peninsula woman found out just how many she had when she came home from the hospital Sunday to a home she almost didnt recognize. It had been transformed by a small army of people who wanted to do something, anything, for a woman whose story had so touched and horrified them.
Although some of the workers were neighbors, many of them had never met Gorman. When they heard of the Aug. 20 attack on the disabled woman by two pit bulls in her own bedroom they came together with one purpose: to transform her home from a place of tragedy into one where she could feel comfortable again.

What a wonderful report!
excelent story. thank you for posting. the only news that would have made it more touching was the extermination of that hideous “breed of peace.”
Yes, it’s heartwarming that so many came to her assistance.
Very decent community.
