UCI Regents are idiots. Last year they refused to be held accountable in millions of dollars that seem to disappear in perks and benefits.

They clearly don’t know how to run this institution which is why the medical facilities have ground to nothing.

From what I saw/heard/read during a "tour of duty" at UCLA...
that seems to be Standard Operating Proceedure at most campi of
the UC system!

I remember that when he visited in 2004, he was amazed at the
amount of construction at UCLA, given the endebteness of the
state of California.

I told him not ot worry...Orange County didn't go under even after
hugh financial shenanigans!
