I'm confused. Your tagline says that the Duke professors who came out against the Duke lacrosse players should be fired and yet you think it is impermissible for UCI to take a pass on someone who wants to extend the Bill of Rights to cover the detainees being held at Guantanamo. Is that really what you think?

If he were nominated to the federal judiciary then pass on him. My guess is since he's well respected by many legal scholars(including Glenn Reynolds) that he can and will build a solid law school where all students can flourish. I don't like the idea of saying because you don't agree with me you are not qualified to hold any job above janitor.
