DES MOINES, Iowa - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton unveiled Monday a $110 billion-a-year plan to insure every American -- and her second foray into health care reform elicited the same fusillade of criticism as "Hillarycare" did 14 years ago.

.....[snip].......

Clinton would force enrollment of young, healthy people, ages 18 to 30, who often forego insurance because they believe they will never get sick. Clinton said their participation was essential because premiums from healthy patients offset higher costs incurred by older patients.

Clinton adviser Laurie Rubiner said she would leave it to Congress to come up with sanctions for people who failed to comply, but suggested one penalty could be the loss of the standard deduction on their income tax filings......"

Hillary, “Whooo whooo, look at me, look at me. No, don’t look at Hsu, look at me, look at me. Look at my new worked over socialism’s best hope health care plan. Whoo whoooo look at me. Don’t look at Hsu... Over here look at me! Look at me.”

This broad and her flying monkey media squad are pathetic.

I’m looking for a foreign country that will welcome me if I decide to go ex-pat. Greenland or Vietnam might compare favorably to Hillarystan. I’ll look into it.

Oh, wait, I thought it was going to be the RICH paying for everybody. Now she says it will actually be the YOUNG and HEALTHY paying premiums for health care that they likely won’t be using but premiums that will subsidize the older and infirm? The young and healthy need to know this straight away! I believe they support her in massive numbers.

This is EXACTLY what happened in Massachusetts:

You lose your personal deduction on Mass income tax, plus there are other penalties if you don’t sign up.

I hope this position bite her on the ass! With this there is a clear obnoxious position. I Don’t think the electorate will like the Mandatory part. The welfare types will go for it since they don’t pay anyway, but middle class will be POed.

Hillary’s plan is the same thing Romney imposed in Massachusetts. Who copied whom?

The Car insurance analogy they use is also BS. There is no legal requirement to have a car.

Still looking in the constitution for healthcare......nope.....nothing yet. How about a $200K a year tax credit just in case I need some of your healthcare?

It’s another version of Social Security.

You nailed it. This statement says it all:

Clinton said their participation was essential because premiums from healthy patients offset higher costs incurred by older patients.

They better be. This will effect every private health care insurance policy in the nation within a very few short years.
