During a streaming live post-debate analysis, Values Voter Debate organizer Janet Folger announced that 63% of voting delegates at the debate (chosen by the sponsoring organizations) chose Gov. Mike Huckabee as the winner.
Delegates voted before and after the debate. Huckabee picked up over a hundred votes in the "after" vote.
1. Huckabee 219 2. Paul 44 3. Keyes 24
Over 200 people watched that? Wow.
The thread here has over 600 replies.
Custers Last Stand
That a massacre. And who would vote for Alan Keyes?
Hey Uncle,
There were over 2,000 just in the auditorium, plus whoever watched it on various Christian TV networks, listened to it on various Christian national radio networks, and watched it online at www.ValuesVoterDebate.com
There were several hundred voting delegates chosen by the sponsoring organizations, intended to make clear who’s backed by...newsflash...”values voters.”
Somebody who is too crazy even to vote for Huckleberry or RuPaul.
Huckabee is running for VP and doing a pretty good job of getting noticed. I don’t think he could be on a Fred ticket though. Too southern. Maybe if Jooliani or Romney get the nod.
Sorry, but one President from Arkansas was enough. Next.
BTTT
Rudy and Romney are doa!
That’s not that great for a Baptist minister. He should convert to Catholic to raise his score. /s
Hopefully he wouldn’t stoop that low into shadow!
Fred is off to a good start but he’s got some catching up to do and folks will be taking a more critical look at him now. We’ll get to see if he’s really ready for prime(ary) time. Check back in 2 months. If he’s still kickin’ butt and takin’ names then he’s for real.
But what does gambling 911 say?
Agreed!
I arrived back in my home town today. Awaiting me was a mailing of campaign stuff. Now, on the back of my car, I am displaying:

Huckabee would be a very good VP.
He’s a nanny stater. Huckabee needs to embrace freedom.
When you're in first place, exactly who are you "catching up" to?
BTW, I think the very term "value voters" is incredibly pretentious. Only their values are worthy? Or are they just a group of people who shop with coupons?
