Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad requested to visit Ground Zero during an upcoming trip to New York. That request was rejected Wednesday. But a source tells Eyewitness News that the decision may not stop him.
A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m. The source says regardless of the NYPD's rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran's president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States.

When my best friend’s mother died, his crazy ex-girlfriend showed up at the funeral with a photo album and proceeded to go around showing his wife, in-laws, and kids old photos of him and her that were rather inappropriate.
Kind of reminds me of Ahmadinejad going to Ground Zero.
I truly hope that NYPD including and especially the SWAT Teams have the blue flu on the day he arrives......good day for them all to go fishing or to the range.....I know it’s a loong shot, but wth?
It would sort of be like a “victory lap” for muslims around the world with ‘Nutjob standing around Ground Zero like Mussolini up on the balcony looking around smugly at the crowd as if asking the world “Want some more of this?”
