Corporate donations are prohibited. That is why every time you give to a candidate, or to a Party, they ask for your employment info and they specify that NO CORPORATE CHECKS are acceptable. There is also a limit for the Presidential of $2300 per election cycle. That is why you see these donations in Hillary’s campaign of 2 checks for $2300 — one for the primary and one for the general election.

Corporations MAY donate to issues, however. But NOT to candidates, or to Political Parties. Even if a corporation gave an old copy machine, or a ream of paper, to your local political party, it would be considered an “in kind” donation.

On a previous report, I noticed several donations to Hillary’s campaign of amounts more than the $4600 and the notation, “to be attributed”. What does THAT mean? Does that mean that they are trying to find someone’s name to pull out of the woodwork to “reattribute” part of that donation?

Remember a couple of months ago when it looked like Obama had raised more money than Hillary? She quickly caught up, and that is because she collected (”bundled”) all these maximum donations. The reason Obama was (is) really ahead of her in the money scramble is that his donations are NOT for the maximum and he can go back to his donors for more money. He has a larger number of donors.

Sounds like it to me.....

His lawyers claim Hsu was trying to kill himself with pills on the train...

http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/09/21/BA2SSB06B.DTL

and he wants to change his 1992 plea AND HE WANTS HIS BAIL $$$ BACK!!!

“His attorney now says Hsu will seek to withdraw that plea [no contest in 1992] and have the charge dismissed or the case brought to trial. Brosnahan also asked that the $2 million bail that Hsu forfeited when he skipped a Sept. 5 court date in Redwood City and boarded Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr be returned to him.”

Hell, this could have been as simple as, “All the H’s contribute on the 14th, all the I’s on the 15th, and all the J’s on the 16th...”.

I would boycott Lillian Vernon but, I don't buy their garbage anyway.

I kept receiving their catalogs and did read them although never actually purchased anything.

Some things they offered disturbed me. Items for children with their names on them. Not just items that would stay at home, but lunch boxes, backpacks etc. Seemed to me that could be dangerous - advertising a child's name to any stranger.

Just my two cents.

He is in deeper legal problems now considering the new charges. No surprise that his lawyer claimed he tried to commit suicide. Why you would do that by taking sleeping pills on a train ride is questionable. Why not check into a nice penthouse hotel suite and at least see one more beautiful sunset before you bite the dust. Anyone hear of someone committing suicide in a train sleeper before ? It probably has happened, but cannot see it as being a popular way to go.

“.... Brosnahan also asked that the $2 million bail that Hsu forfeited when he skipped a Sept. 5 court date in Redwood City and boarded Amtrak’s eastbound California Zephyr be returned to him...”

It is not Hsu's money since he had no legitimate source of income. Looks like the lawyer is worried about getting paid.

When they pulled him off the train he was in the middle of attempting araknicde but apparently they got him off before the Hillary goons could complete it.

I’d campaign for Flip Pidot for Attorney General, but he’s more valuable on his blog at http://www.suitablyflip.com

Bump for his outstanding research. The networks will come to this kicking and screaming, but with research like that, they WILL come.

Actually, it matters less and less if they do anyway. The train’s left without them.
