Nothing really to see here, they were always in control of the US Air Force, it’s not likely that the pilot would have launched them over Arkansas just to see what would happen, and I’m pretty damn sure they was no chance of them landing at a 7-11 for gas and a slurpy where they could have been stolen while the flight crew was inside waiting for a burrito to heat up in the microwave.
I tend to agree, exactly.
Even if these were completely live weapons, loaded with fresh physics packages, fuel, batteries et al, they were not loaded up as such on the wing, and therefore how could they have been targeted?
And then if someone were to attempt to steal or launch the missile, how far would the B-52 ever get if it diverted off the mainland?
