RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Police said two women dressed as ninjas were responsible for the hold-up of a Richland Township gas station Saturday morning using a samurai sword.
Police said the two women -- one with a dagger, and the other carrying the sword -- entered a Sunoco station in the 5600 block of Route 8 at about 3 a.m.
According to police, the women tied up the clerk and robbed the store of cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets.
"They were all covered in black and carrying swords, so it did appear that they were dressed like ninjas," said Chief Robert Amman of the Northern Regional Police Department. "Swords, daggers could be used to seriously harm victims, so this is a very serious crime."

Wouldn’t a female Ninja actually be a Nunja ? Maybe armed with armed with nunchuckas?
Back when I was a contractor for the EPA, we had a ninja break into the work site (haz waste mind you)and the trailer. The guards saw him and gave pursuit. Cops were called and they had an infrared device on the helicopter. The idiot was in the pond with a straw doing the old reed as a snorkel bit. The sheriff, a big good old boy, got on a bullhorn and said something to the effect of “boy, we can see you and the bull ‘gator that lives in that pond. He is off to your right and moving.” Ninja surrendered. It was some greenpeace punk.
“armed with armed with” isn’t a mistake! The story DID say there was two of them. So there.
Actually the term is ‘kunoichi.’ But i get your point. :)
Man, you need to invest in some ninja repellent -
Only 5? You must live in a really good neighborhood. Can’t swing a dead cat ‘round here without smackin’ into a few ninjas.
You know, I had a dream like that once...
That’s funny, we had that a few years ago. Car thieves or some such were chased into one of the canals and wouldn’t come out. The cops didn’t want to go in after them. One cop told ‘em that’s ok, we’ll just fish out the pieces after the gators are done with you and shines a spot on the weeds to show the kids the gators’ eyes shining in the dark. The kids set a record getting out of the water...
Actually I believe the correct term is Ninjess.
