Romney is for big government, Romney Care, anti Second Amendment, signed for the Mass AWB just for starters.

Corrections:

Romney balanced the Mass budget after inheriting a debt of $3 billion. He did it without raising taxes in a bluer than blue state. He did it by cutting and streamlining government and eliminating massive waste. He ended his term with a surplus of $1 billion. That's fiscal conservatism.

"RomneyCare" was praised by the conservative Heritage Foundation for his conservative solution to health care issues. It was a solution that focused on individual choice and private health insurance options, not big government socialized medicine.

Romney received a 'B' rating from the NRA, is a lifetime member, and has been endorsed by a member of the NRA's Board of Directors and a former NRA Executive Director. The one gun restriction that he signed an extension on was part of a bill SUPPORTED by the NRA and the GOA. He's far from being "anti-Second Amendment."

I agree with you and I am a Mitt supporter.

But, I would gladly vote for Mitt, Fred , or Rudy. Heck, I’d even for McCain considering who their opponent is likely to be.

I prefer living in a free-market capitalist country, and not a Socialist welfare nanny-state.

I guess all those TV ads really started to pay off.

We will see in the next couple polls whether this trend is real.

Mormons are not Christians.

Yes, they are.

They do not believe in Christ Jesus as the Son of God.

Yes, they do.

They do not believe in Salvation or any of the other Christian beliefs.

Yes, they do.

This poll smells bad. This poll seems skewed, because Romney has ~consistently~ been in 3-4th place in S.C. all year long.

As somebody pointed out, it’s clear the numbers of Romney and Fred are juxtaposed. Fred dropping 17% in one month AFTER he declares ?!? There’s no other poll in the nation that supports such absurdity. All legit polls showing him tied or leading former 1st placer Rudy. He’ll sweep the south easily.

Very possible that the poll is an outlier...... Every so often an outlier occurs. You never know until the next poll is taken to see if it verifies or rejects the previous poll. If it rejects then the previous was an outlier. If it verifies then the populace has shifted from one opinion to another.

Only time can tell us this or other polls begin to show the same trends.

This doesn’t add up AT ALL

Yeah, an honest person could see something screwy is going on. The Romney pumpers will soon look foolish for thinking this is factual. There was either human error or manipulation involved in this. Romney will win SC in his dreams.

I sense a lot of “living in denial” on this thread.

The Poll says that Romney is leading in SC. But look at all the responses that say, “This can’t be right” or “No way Fred could have dropped so much” or “This poll doesn’t pass the smell test” or words to that effect.

I have no problem believing the poll. Mitt has been, so far, the best candidate. I’m not saying things won’t change but right now, he’s ahead in a number of States.

Off topic but, Mormons do believe Jesus is the son of God - I’ll grant you that. But your meaning is twisted - Jesus is one of many gods.

I believe Jesus Christ is the only God in the flesh.

Don't spoil this Romney circle jerk by trying to bring common sense into this thread.

Here’s the answer: Hillary is a socialist. Giuliani isn’t.

So Giuliani isn’t the social conservative I would like. But we aren’t going to get a social conservative during this election cycle. We’ve gotta take what we can get.

If Hillary and the Dems socialize this country, then there is nothing left worth fighting for.

The only denial is the Romney pumpers who think this is real. Polls this far out of whack are wrong. Romney is not and will not do that well in the south. Period. I would bet any Romney supporter any amount of money that he will not win South Carolina.
