I was thinking that the lib billionaires probably don’t have any interest in this because Rush is behind it, but if Rush is matching the high bid, you’d think they’d be willing to drop one of their billions just to bankrupt him.

Soros? Put your money where your mouth is.

EBay requires two bidders to take a bid up that high... maybe Soros and Peter Lewis could collaborate, but I suspect Rush would be only too happy to match whatever the final bid is. And bidders have to be pre-screened — I don’t that Soros or Lewis would qualify.

Regardless, this is a great patriotic move by Rush. He’s just too smart for those jack-ass Demos.

That would be interesting. Rush would come back with something. :^)

Rush has put conditions on bidders making their identities known to him so that he can have them vetted. He doesn’t want the Dhimmicrats buying the letter back to try to hide it. I think he would disqualify Soros.

In addition to promising to match the winning bid to double the money he has challenged the Dhimmicrats who signed the letter to pony up the money as a group to do the same. I sent him a note suggesting that he publicly add MoveON.ORG, Media Matters and George Soros to that challenge, but ask each of them to match the funds raised, not be part of those who divvy up the pot.
