Sincerely "Dingy" Harry Reid
not bad coming from the palm beach post...
Remember folks, Hillary Clinton was one of the people that signed that letter. That should tell you how she feels about freedom of speach and how little she knows about how to handle items like this.
In a battle of wits with RL, Harry Reid came unarmed.
Harry Reid is a loser and a traitor.
He will be effectively “Daschled” in his next election.
Bzzzzzt. that, is why they have no foundation or basis for their indignation, there basic permise is incorrect.
Translation: "We got caught in a lie, so we'll pretend as if the fact that it was a lie is irrelevant."
Uh, no he didn't.
Dingy Harry has proven himself to be the all time doofus of elected office. This has to be the leader of boners that came back to bite someone in the rear and the forty senators who sided with him are all tied for second place.
Why is this such a favorite tactic of the Left?
"Reid looks absolutely, embarrassingly incompetent when you think about what he said, in fact anyone who can read could tell what Rush really meant. ...so let's stop arguing and call it a draw."
Whenever someone on the Left says "The debate is over!", or "This is a tedious, unresolvable and ultimately pointless debate.", you can rest assured that the debate is going very badly for the Leftist.
Anyone who hears or reads Mr. Limbaugh's comments in context will have no doubt whatsoever what he meant. It's perfectly clear, with or without debate.
Both Dingy Harry and his liberal media accomplices are left with well-deserved egg on their faces.
LOL!
By the way, does anyone remember the name of John Kerry’s VVAW partner who claimed to be a ‘nam vet, but was not? That’s a phony soldier that needs to be brought up again.
There was a crooked man
Who wrote a crooked letter
Against a great American
Who was and is his better
He is a crooked 'Rat
Squeaks like a crooked mouse
He crookedly debases
Our honored Senate house
Leni
A lie...he called a specific solder who lied about his service record, and who lied about American atrocities, and who was against the war a "phony soldier".
Whether he meant all such critics or just one is a tedious, unresolvable and ultimately pointless debate.
Which means this reporter knows it's a lie, and need a way to escape having to deal with the facts.
It reminds me of a professor I had in college; if he was caught wrong or didn't know the answer to a question, he would reply "That's outside the scope of this lecture."
It's fun watching them eat their own.
Jessie would give him a big shout-out, except that he's been sent on secret "Project Geneocide" deployment back to Iraq with the 123rd Baby-Impalers.
"the Senate majority leader embarrassed himself, his party and his cause."If Reid and his fellow Democrat politicians were capable of embarrassment--or shame--or truth for its own sake, for that matter--they would never show their faces again.
Evidently the same is true of the editorial board of the Palm Beach Post:
"Mr. Limbaugh...slams anyone whom he believes to be unpatriotic - that would be anyone who disagrees with him that the Iraq War was justified and is going splendidly - recently called U.S. active-duty personnel who oppose the war 'phony soldiers'."This is not true, and the editorial board of this newspaper has every expectation of knowing it. The truth is available to them as it is to everyone else.
It is true that Rush Limbaugh "slams anyone whom he believes to be unpatriotic".
It is not true--and the editorialists of the Palm Beach Post know it, whether or not they acknowledge the truth, to themselves or to other people--that Rush Limbaugh considers anyone unpatriotic who "disagrees with him that the Iraq War was justified and is going splendidly".
It is also untrue that Rush Limbaugh "called U.S. active-duty personnel who oppose the war 'phony soldiers'". He said something quite different.
If these so-called "journalists" want to know the truth, they can. It is available to them as it is to everyone.
The fact that they do not acknowledge the truth and do not speak the truth in this matter speaks volumes about them and about the U.S. "mainstream newsmedia" in general.
It is this mendacity that has earned the "mainstream newsmedia" and its so-called "journalists" the contempt of honest people.
This statement is also untrue:
"Whether he meant all such critics or just one is a tedious, unresolvable and ultimately pointless debate."
Rush Limbaugh's meaning is not unresolvable. His meaning is quite clear. But, for that matter, these editorialists could ask him for clarification.
Furthermore, this "debate" is by no means unresolvable, though one must agree that it is tedious but only because what he said and meant has been belabored by dishonest politicians and so-called "journalists".
It could be easily resolved by asking Limbaugh what he meant.
It could also be easily resolved by listening to what he said with honesty and a commitment of truth for its own sake.
