(CNN) -- An Iranian naval commander Monday said his forces are willing to carry out suicide missions when facing enemy forces in the Persian Gulf, according to Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency.

A suicide pact isn’t a pact when the only thing you can guarantee is that you’ll get blown out of the water the second you depart port. I mean, if they were able to get out of port, across the bay, and actually ram something, I might be impressed, only there won’t be anything to ram with as it’s cut to pieces by close in defenses should they get that far.
Sometimes, you just want to reach out to them, turn their heads up in the sky, and point. “See that thing you still time your rituals on? We’ve been there, on a campout. Allah wasn’t in; must have been using the john or something.”
