I say he should be naked, in the dark, at a temperature cold enough to be uncomfortable but not cold enough to kill him, with nothing in his cell but a toilet, sink, and steel cot, 24/7/365 for the rest of his life. No TV, no books, no blankets, no pillows, no pens or pencils, no exercise, no sunshine, no newspapers, nothing but four stony walls for the rest of his life.
