Not so nutty when you consider they were all pretty much guilty of the same thing.
They gotta come up with a scandal that won't also backfire on them.
Finding a Democrat that hasn't taken drugs, hasn't cheated on his/her spouse, hasn't taken bribes, hasn't been in bed with lobbyists, etc. is pretty hard.
If only they could find out that Hillary owns a handgun or that she crossed a picket line or that she had a brain, then she'd be dead meat!

Because they’ll harp on her only on the inconsequential things... They don’t really want to see her lose to a Republican, so won’t do anything to weaken her general election prospects. The first one to do so (Edwards, probably) will find out what Hillary’s really like when she’s not pretending to be semi-friendly.
