the ground force called for supporting aircraft to engage, killing eight terrorists, Oh, I love it when that happens. Be the aircraft helicopters from the Army or Marines, or Marine, Navy or Air Force fast movers... Well I will admit a slight prejudice for the Warthog, and failing that the F-16C or F-15E, the latter two because they carry one of "my" systems.

All the weapons were safely destroyed on site to prevent further use by terrorists. Or at least that is what the paperwork says. Hopefully anything of any real use was "appropriated" for us *against* the terrorists.
