Looks like the author is blaming Norquist who was behind Nehring. Norquist is involved in many state policies, unfortunately. He is the architect of the Bush Amnesty.
Okay... now I think I get it.
I looked up the author, Raoul Lowery Contreras. He’s an OBL guy. So, no matter that he exposed the twisted actions of the CAGOP in hiring illegal immigrants, the rest of this article tries to portray the Bush and OBL types as the “good government” folks and others as “radical conservatives.” The thing that makes it most confusing is that he puts Nehring in the latter category, which given his past association with Norquist is a bit unbelievable.
