FORT HUACHUCA A federal report in May that this southern Arizona Army post may be the target of Middle Easterners who were smuggled into the United States from Mexico is not valid or credible, a FBI spokesman said Monday.
While an agency report has been leaked to some members of the media it does not mean the document contains vetted and true information, Special Agent Richard Kolko said.
More information will be published in Tuesday's Herald/Review.

OK, maybe I've been out of the military too long, or I'm just missing a geographic point of reference, but WTF is Fort Huachuca, and what significance does it have?

I’ve been hearing about this all weekend, Sandy. Reports of weapons caches seized and suspects arrested. What’s the skinny?

I guess since this story involves Muslims and illegal immigration, the proper FR response is to suddenly
trust the MSM who reported the alleged threat.
...oh, and also trust the member of the Zetas (military arm of the Gulf Cartel) who was the "sub-source" of the info. ...and all despite the warning by the DEA that it might just be a set-up to get us after the Sinaloa Cartel (Gulf Cartel rivals). You know, those drug lords just can't be bought off! </sarc>
Original Story
I hope I'm forgiven for not jumping into this one with both feet.

What's the hurry? /s Considering this is a story from May, I don't think there's any need for the "/s" tag.
There very well might be something to this, but on the other hand, it's not necessarily the case...and if it's nothing, then it's a distraction from the very real threat of the open border.

Interesting...
Subject: Fort Huachuca, May 20, 2007 Same Time Frame Reported...
TUCSON, Ariz. - A pair of priests arrested in November for trespassing on Fort Huachuca are determined to make a court case out of what they contend is torture being taught at the Southern Arizona Army post. Were going to put torture on trial, the Rev. Louis Vitale and the Rev. Steve Kelly told nearly 80 people Friday in the sanctuary of the Southside Presbyterian Church in Tucson. The two believe the post and its intelligence leadership prepare soldiers to become torturers in a misguided attempt to extract information.

Hey Padre, even on the long odds that torture is taught at an Army post...
at least they probably teach ‘em to just pick on adults.
(My comment is just directed toward this activist hassling the US
Army...NOT against the Catholic Church)

Think of all the potential Islamic terrorists that Al Qaeda must have screened before they found one who could pronounce “Fort Huachuca” to ask for directions.

The two got 5 months in the Federal Slammer from the judge.
Then again this year, two dingbat broads and another priest tresspassed again.
