I don’t care for it. They don’t send the packaging which in many cases contains extras about the film (booklet, essays). Nor do they tell you which edition of the film they are sending (what the extras are on the disc itself).

Netflix can probably change to a machine sortable mailing envelope for less that 17 cents, so this won’t likely create a huge increase in costs for them.
