Doesn't anyone see the irony of a teacher that claims that Christians are "out of control", "narrow minded", "prejudiced", and "promoters of hate" and then threatens any student with revenge should they actual follow their conscience and exercise their own freedom?

I agree.

Another angle that has to be considered is that this child was prepared by her church for persecution. Jesus prepared His deciples for persecution so they wouldn't 'stumble'. The church needs to resurrect such teachings, because it's going to get much, much worse.
