Well I don’t quite understand. Before, you said Beauchamp was a liar. Fine, I think we all agree on that. But are you also calling the editor of TNR a liar as well? Because it was not Beauchamp who wrote of the seperate corroborations. I’m not quite sure what part you are afraid of being true. TNR’s attempt to use Beauchamp as an example of what the Iraq war is doing to our troops backfired on them. That can’t be undone, no matter what they say now. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that everything Beauchamp said was invented out of wholecloth either. Instead, all it means is that war didn’t make Beauchamp an asshole, he was just born that way.
