TWO HELD IN LONDON TERROR RAIDS
Two men have been arrested over alleged terrorism offences, police said.
Officers detained the pair on suspicion of the "commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism" following raids in London on Tuesday, according to Scotland Yard.
It is understood the allegations refer to offences being planned overseas.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said the men, held under the Terrorism Act, were aged 25 and 39.
"They were arrested at separate residential addresses in north-west London and west London," he added. "They were taken to a central London police station and are currently in custody."
